Just a couple big deals this time around...
Grouper - 'Cover The Windows & The Walls' CD Version
Proper CD version of the LP. We ran 1000 copies of these, so hopefully it will be around a bit longer than the record. "First ever CD version of the LP we originally did in 2007. This one has everything you've come to expect from Portland, OR. based Liz Harris. Cyclical vocal vapors and guitar / piano shapes levitate on the surface of hissy atmospherics dense with a feedback that conjures up all sorts of latent images from the subtle body / mind. Liz's songs always seem to be perched delicately between layers of blissful fuzz and her stark, gorgeous song craft. It's a mix that more often than not leads to dazzling results. Edition of 1000 CD's in a heavy black & white offset printed cover. "Lost in a Dreamworld, West Coast Natural"
Tsuki No Seika - A Capella 7" Subscription Series
Wow, this has really been a long time in the making. It's great to finally see this project reach the light of day. Originally conceived as a 7" box set, 'Tsuki No Seika' will now be offered up as a subscription only 7" series in four installments. Each 7" will be a split, and each artist has contributed an a capella track. That is to say, vocals only! In addition, all of the artwork is done by the artist. Copies will not be sold in stores, or via mp3 download sites, and we have no plans to re-release this material in another format in the future. The contributing artists are:

All of the music & artwork has been turned in, and we expect to ship the first installment of the series in August, with subsequent installments every 6 to 8 weeks after that. We will be selling 250 subscriptions at $40 for US folks, $50 for everyone else. Both prices include shipping and we will be sending out some kind of physical receipt with each order.

Thanks to the kind folks over at Morr Music, a big slice of the current RS catalogue is now available for digital download via (most likely) your favorite web store. We'll be slowly offering up selections from the back catalogue as well, so keep and eye out for OOP items in the future.
