thank you for this!
and happy thanksgiving!
I’m french and i find it surprising to see all this post about old french films. Godard is a big filmmaker, but it’s curious to see some fan in USA.
i don’t think it’s especially curious. he’s become a household name. only his post-68 films are almost completely ignored by the mainstream “art-house” crowd because they’ve been dogmatically stigmatized by the “art-house” powers that be. criterion?
anyway this film is showing at the film forum this weekend. good movie. yr a good guy jefre.
Hey Jef, you know that dude who plays “Paul Godard” is Francoise Hardy’s husband?
Yes, Françoise Hardy’s husband is Jacques Dutronc. He is a great musician and singer too. He writes fabulous songs. There son plays music too, in gypsie style. I prefer Mum and Dad …
Oh Mickael, i tell it in a good way. It’s just quite funny to see people in the other side of the world talk about films that my parents watched when i was a child.
A really good film. One of his best, I think.
Thanks for getting this, I remember I paid attention to the music back when I saw this.
Guypi, you’re parents ruled when you were a child! This was even a weird movie for JLG, I thought, but also very good.
You are the man!
Thanks so much for sharing!
