On Thursday, June 28th at 7pm at Entwine in Manhattan, I’ll be screening two short Super 8mm films to live performances by Piet-Jan van Rossum. The evening is part of the Kinematic Thursday series presented by Coworker Projects. Entwine’s address is 765 Washington Street, New York, NY 10014

Then on Saturday, June 30th in Brooklyn at 7pm, I’ll be screening a program of Super 8mm films at Microscope Gallery, featuring music created by Jefre Cantu-Ledesma, Gregg Kowalsky and Barn Owl. Included films will be SPHINX ON THE SEINE, CHORUS, UNION, LIGHT FROM THE MESA and COMPOUND EYES. Admission is $6. Maggi Payne is Co-Director of the Center for Contemporary Music at Mills College, Oakland. She has been writing and performing music since the 70s and has performed her works all over the world.
