Love Songs and The Tiny Music of Things
Le Chant du Monde LP, 1987 (recorded 1972-1983)

Beautiful set of recordings from the Philippines. The first side, “Love Songs” contains slow, buzzing folk songs recorded in thick ambience. The second side, labeled “The Tiny Music of Things” by the recordist, contains musical representations of the sounds of the Palawan natural world. My 320 rip and sleeve/booklet photos.
