sorry to bug but i can’t get this one to work. it will download in routine fashion but when its time to unzip my program does not recognize the file. any advice?
Wow.. I haven’t heard any of her playing except for John Cage compositions. Her recordings of his material are exceptional.
Very much looking forward to this. Downloading now. Very surprising to see this !
1986, sheesh…
By the way, has anyone heard this ( http://tinyurl.com/8xonu8f ) ? It’s a CD on Wergo of Gerhard Stäbler material featuring “contrabass, percussion and tape” on the first track and solo shō on the other tracks. Seems very promising. (Link is to Discogs.)
this disc (w/miyata) is highly recommended as well:

Yes, that is great. I have been wondering about this one, too. Another fine example of Wergo going downhill with their more recent designs, though. A shame.
Anyway, I’ll have to buy this at some stage. Looks fantastic.
Wow, just listened to this. Absolutely exceptional and celestial, yet very grounded.. Great artwork, too. Well designed.
Wow, I’m listening now and are amazed by the celestial sound!
Lovely, thanks a lot for spreading such cool stuff that one would not get in contact with elsewhere!
