alright friends, here it is, ripped from my original LP. one of the holy grail albums from alan licht’s best of minimalism lists. zoltan jeney is using a sinclair ZX spectrum computer sequencer to control a RSF kobol synthesizer. and andras wilheim is playing a hammond 100 organ with a leslie speaker. this is about as relentless as minimalism gets! the closest comparison would be to philip glass’ very early works for farfisa organs, etc which are challenging but trance inducing listens. this record is way more dissonant and haunting than most anything else in the canon. enjoy this rare slice of minimalism from hungary!
