Orchestre Regional de Kayes – Badage

Just in time for summer. Portland’s Mississippi records (their shop is a must see if you hit up PDX) does it again with another awesome reissue pulled from the aether. These folks seem to be sitting pretty on a pile of timeless jams…keep ’em coming.

    Yeah in an interview the owner said he gives royalties to the artists whenever possible, but it seems like the folks on this album haven’t received any and would like to.

    I wonder about this as well.
