The Holy Mountain (SoundTrack)

Zip

Cant say I’m really a fan of Jodororsky’s films..a little too Catholic for me. But the Soundtrack to Holy Mountain is pretty nice. And Don Cherry is all over it.  Sweet!

Well, Jodorowsky is of Jewish heritage and has a sort of Hermetic-Rosicrucian-occult sensibility to him, but he is from Chile, one of the most staunchly Catholic countries in Latin America. Mexico, on the other hand, where Jodorowsky made his films, has a strong tradition of secularism in its national culture, despite having a majority Catholic population. Chalk this up to the influence of its Freemasons (GAOTU bless ’em!), who can be as militantly anti-clerical as their brothers were back in the days of the French Revolution.
