In this program of film shorts, experimental filmmaker (and SFMOMA’s own head projectionist) Clipson screens high-art takes on low subjects. Luis BuÃ±uel cast a surreal eye on rural poverty in Spain, Alain Resnais documents the lyricism of plastic, and Georges Franju upends nationalism and military glory.
