On Land Update

on-land-poster1

With On land just a week away I thought I’d give a little update….

We’ll have these posters for sale at the show.
We’ll have t-shirts for sale too.
Ilyas Ahmed will be joined by Honey Owens (Valet/Nudge) & Jed Bindeman (Heavy Winged) on guitar & drums, respectively.
Jed will also be play drums in Operative.
Paul Clipson will be projecting Super8 films for the Tarentel, Barn Owl, William Fowler Collins & Brendan Murray sets.
Metal Rouge will be a three piece with the addition of trombone and drums.
RS co-head Maxwell Croy will be performing koto with John Davis. John will be projecting his own Super8 films.
Look out for RS interviews next week in the SF Bay Guardian, SF Chronicle & SF Weekly.

Tix are still available @ Aquarius Records & via the Cafe DuNord website.

See you soon!

Kicking myself for living on the wrong coast this month. Let us know if you have any shirts left over – and especially if anybody makes any recordings of the sets.

So are the dates on that poster the most up to date? There are two shows on Sunday the 20th? Because when it was first announced, I remember the early show was taking place on Saturday, Sept 19.

On the Cafe du Nord website it also lists the early show as taking place on Saturday the 19th.

    Can you clarify please?

Pro-recorded? Does that mean they’ll be released in some capacity? Say…a mega cd/dvd box set of all the performances? Maybe?
Of course, I’d be happy with mp-3s or something too. Anything works!
Also, any chance some of those shirts/posters might make it onto the webstore?

I’ll chime in as an East Coaster and say any sound documentation would be so incredible–

god I hope not. can you please ask before you try and steal my soul? seriously tho, if you want to record my set it has to be an amateur and only released on wire.
