Jon Gibson – Two Solo Pieces
Jon Gibson
Two Solo Pieces
Chatham Square Productions, 1977 LP
Side A. Cycles (1973) – 22:49
Side B. Untitled (1974) – 18:15
Included in a relatively recent collective post on John Davis’ Tonal Bride, this achingly beautiful LP deserves its own post. Side A, ‘Cycles’ alone… ah nevermind, this sums it up.
RE-UP of CD Version
01. Cycles 23:01
02. Untitled 18:27
03. Melody IV Part 1 13:07
04. Melody III 6:21

its all about Cycles at first….then Untitled becomes the favorite, then back to Cycles. such a good album….
the CD reissue of this has some really great bonus tracks.
ill have to send it over to you….
and the cloaks cover of Cycles is mighty nice too…
Hello,
I think there might be a problem on side B. track. It cuts off after about 6-7 minutes. Thanks again for an amazing site.
Nice, been meaning to get my hands on this baby…

Cloaks covering Jon Gibson ?
What’s that about …
I was looking at the reissue CD information, and then saw that the cover is cropped. The off-white border with the script on it is gone from the original vinyl issue. The new artwork looks more like something Jason Kahn would release on his Cut label …

Evan, thanks for the link.
As for the Cloaks cover job, Jefre posted the track back in September:
