Ok, not sure if this is part of a new tape series Mississippi is doing, or just a brief stop over before getting back into the MRC series..
The cover has no MRC # like the others, but does say TLC Vol.1 “Men Of Country Music”
Either way, top notch mix!

Don’t suppose you (or anyone else that reads this) managed to snag a copy of Mississippi’s Fihavanana 3LP? I saw it over at Honest Jon’s and dwelt too long not realising it was so limited.

Thanks so much for all the Mississippi tapes. They are hard to get a hold of for those of us that don’t live in Portland. There is a single disc version of Fihavanana coming out soon. Also for those that don’t know, you can mail order Mississippi vinyl (not tapes) directly from them and it is cheaper than buying them from a distributor/store. btw, this is not part of the standard MS records tape series. A close look at the pdf included with the zip shows that “Men with Broken Hearts” is #1 in the MS Records “Tender Love and Care” tape series, to be followed soon by TLC #2, “Woman is the Boss.”

I just noticed this thread, and wanted to provide a little more info about Men With Broken Hearts make by Portland DJ, Josh Kermiet. Although this tape doesn’t include a little number it was made for the Mississippi Records Tape Series by request of Eric to share the joy of Tender, Love and Care, a long running and truly amazing Country Night that happens at Valentine’s every last Thursday of the month in Portland. Cover and poster art insert by Kermiet.
