    Thanks for the links towards Cope’s detailed/definite explanations.

    My basic understanding was that

    Pôle was the name of
    – the label founded by Besombes & Rizet
    – but also of their musical project – the subsequent albums by B&R being released under the Pôle moniker: “Inside the Dream” and “Kotrill”

    However confusing it may sound (the cover art of the album is definitely not clear as to what the name of the band and the title of the LP are), “Besombes & Rizet” is now generally referred to as the title of their first album, as pointed here on Neospheres (a website of reference for any french speaker interested in these musics):
