thanks–love love these arp autumn mixes, year round for me..
Happy to hear Andrew.
Hope to re-up 2010-2012 mixes soon.
So perfect. I don’t know why music sounds best in fall.
So beautiful, a source to discover new music. Awesome taste Arp, and “More” is the album of the year, a change of style, but absolutely beautiful. If it was an experiment, it succeeded, big time.
Hey Tiptree,
Happy yr digging the mix!
+ thanks for the kind words re: the album!
Hey Alexis!
Since they were released, first two Arp records have never left my deep-rotation catalogue of rare cosmic music that offers only satisfaction and require no effort or sacrifice in return. After hearing “From a Balcony Overlooking the Sea,” though, the prospect of a significantly vocal Arp album ripe with rock arrangements felt exciting, smart, and suprisingly inevitable.
You slayed it with ‘More,’ man. I don’t own another album like this; meandering styles strolling the skybridges that sway between the colassal Rushmore faces that may have looked like Harry Nillson and Van Dyke Parks and Bowie/Eno/Berlin and Terry Riley and the Zombies before centuries of exposure to warm human weather revealed their shared underlying ossature. And I grinned even wider when noticing that you named the album’s most buoyant track after my boy, Charlemagne! Stellar work through and through, Alexis.
Hi Alexis,
was just reading your Interview at FvF and discovered your music.. Just perfect – great mix and great new record!
Your music is just whirling through the autumn leaves of Berlin…
All the Best!!
Mila
